Full
Denture Service
Basically three types of Dentures
are available from A One Dentures, P.C. All cases are different, but often
can be delivered on the same day. Please ask if your dentures can be delivered
in one day!
The
most affordable dentures are called Economy Dentures, $399 full set. The
next affordable dentures are called Custom Dentures, these dentures allow
the patient to have input and a try in of the Customized dentures which
has more expensive teeth than available in the Economy Dentures. The patient
has an opportunity to make changes before the dentures are finished.
The best dentures are called Premium Dentures because they are made with
the best teeth and denture acrylic. Bases have a customized finish from
the laboratory which is a time consuming process and makes these dentures
the most expensive dentures offered by A One Dentures, P.C.

Immediate
Dentures
Immediate dentures are called different names in
many different offices, in this office we call them transitional dentures.
Immediate dentures are placed in the patients mouth following the extraction
of the teeth. This service can be provided with complete or partial dentures.
This is a very good service to maintain appearance, but the gums will
be sore during the healing which takes some time. After healing, the gums
shrink and the transitional dentures may require relining. Often it is
necessary to replace the transitional denture with a permanent new denture.
The reline or new denture service has a separate fee. See the fee schedule
for the appropriate charges.
Partial
Dentures
Partial Dentures can be made with acrylic and wires,
which is the most Economical Partial available. Partial Dentures can be
made with a cast metal frame which is more expensive. Refer to the fee
schedule for the different prices.

Customer
Service
Every patient is different and adjusts to new dentures
differently. Patients wearing dentures for the first time can anticipate
sore spots which will require an adjustment to the dentures. There is
no charge for adjustments during the first 60 days. Thereafter, a regular
adjustment fee will be charged.
A One Dentures, P.C. only uses products approved by the American Dental

Old
Dentures
If you currently wear dentures or partial dentures,
it is necessary that you bring them to your treatment appointment. We
will generally keep your dentures for a few hours in order to assistant
the laboratory in completing your new dentures. If possible, please remember
to leave these dentures out of your mouth a few hours before your visit
and only replace them when requested to do so by the dentist, this will
help the gums to be more natural before the impressions are taken for
the new dentures. Also, if you are using denture adhesives please remember
to remove denture adhesives from the dentures and from your gums.
New
Dentures
New denture patients often question why the lower
denture seems loose. Often lower dentures, unlike your upper denture,
generally have less suction, in part, because the lower jaw has worn down
faster. The lower denture relies on the patient learning to use their
facial muscles and the tongue to assist with the suction of the lower
dentures.
A One Dentures' laboratory sets all denture teeth individually into wax
which is the usual and customary method used by quality dental laboratories
today.
